We collect: (a) Account data: name, email address, and password hash when you sign up. (b) Usage data: templates you use, contracts you generate (stored to provide the service), wizard answers. (c) Payment data: processed by Stripe — we store only a Stripe customer ID and subscription status, not card numbers. (d) Analytics: privacy-first page view analytics via Plausible (no cookies, no personal data). (e) Buyer data: name and email provided by buyers when accepting a license via /c/[slug].
We use your information to: provide the Service (generate and store contracts), process payments via Stripe, send transactional emails (account confirmation, receipt), and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Account data and generated contracts are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the US. We use row-level security so users can only access their own data. Backups are encrypted at rest.
We use: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Plausible (privacy-first analytics). Each has their own privacy policy. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
We use only functional cookies required for authentication (Supabase session cookies). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics provider (Plausible) is cookieless.
Generated contracts and acceptance records are retained indefinitely to provide the verification service. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by emailing hello@licensecomposer.com.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to: access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion, export your data, or object to processing. Email hello@licensecomposer.com to exercise these rights.
For EU users, the legal basis for processing is: contract performance (providing the Service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (improving the Service). You have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. Contact hello@licensecomposer.com for requests.
LicenseComposer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, contact us for immediate deletion.
